Appointments are by phone only

This website does not collect appointment requests, medical history or any health information. Appointments are taken only by phone.

What we collect

Health-tips sign-ups: your mobile number, your name (optional), the time you agreed, and the channels you agreed to (WhatsApp or SMS).
Visit statistics: daily totals of clicks on "call" and "directions" buttons, for example "12 call clicks today". These totals contain no personal information. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not store your IP address for statistics.
Security: to protect forms from abuse, our server briefly uses your IP address and stores only a one-way coded value of it for about an hour.

Cookies

We use one functional cookie, lang_pref, to remember the language you chose (kept for one year). It is not used for tracking. Staff who sign in to the admin area also receive secure login cookies. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use your information

To send the health tips you asked for, by WhatsApp or SMS.
To keep the website secure and working.

We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who else processes it

Hosting: the website runs on a server rented from Hostinger.
Backups: encrypted backups are stored in Google Drive. The files are encrypted before upload, so Google cannot read their contents.
Messages: health tips are delivered through WhatsApp or your mobile operator's SMS service, which process your number to deliver them.

How long we keep it

Health-tips numbers: until you opt out. After you opt out, the number is deleted and we keep only a coded (hashed) record so that we never message that number again.
Visit statistics: up to 24 months (no personal information).
Encrypted backups: deleted information can remain in our encrypted backups for up to 6 months, after which the backups expire.

Your choices

Stop health tips: reply STOP to our message, use the personal unsubscribe link in an SMS, or call 01990 667788.
See, correct or delete your information: call 01990 667788. We will confirm the request with the number concerned before acting.

Security

Information is stored on a protected server. Only authorised staff can see subscriber numbers, every data export is recorded, and backups are encrypted.

Children

This website is meant for adults. A parent or guardian should contact us on behalf of a child.
